This one all started as I was happily rummaging through my stash of

Scheepjes *Colour Crafter. Believe me--the stash is HUGE! And with 93 colors to choose from I could really go to town. I pushed myself a bit out of my typical color palette with this one, but I'm happy with the way they play together. They have sort of a "Royal" feel, huh?

I've included the colors I used, yarn quantities and the multiples number in the pattern so you can make it the exact same size as this blanket (35in X 43in; 89cm X 109cm) , or upsize it nearly 50% using the same number of skeins that I used. If you are interested in getting your hands on some of this gloriously soft, beautifully colored, and affordable yarn--you can find it at Wool Warehouse *here.

I've also included in the pattern a few pictures to help with the trickier bits, but it's rated as an Intermediate skill level pattern.

As I worked out the border, I decided that something with a simple clean line that framed the detail of the stitch pattern would be best. Honestly, I'm pretty pleased with it.

You can purchase this pattern with confidence as it was tested by some talented gals who worked hard to count stitches, suggest improvements and make certain it is accurate and worthy of its royal name.

I hope you like it, too. You can get the pattern in the shop of your choice:
