Only Just Born Hat Free Crochet Pattern

As part of the celebration for I Love Yarn Day 2015 I thought it would be nice to share a free crochet pattern so you can have some fun with colorful yarn and spread a little hooky happiness!

So here is the...
ONLY JUST BORN HAT

Only Just Born Hat (free crochet pattern) by Susan Carlson of Felted Button

I designed this hat specifically to provide a pattern for those of you wanting something unique and cozy for potential charity projects or for a first hat for that special little one in your life. Maybe you will want to make several and donate them to your nearby maternity hospital. The pattern is written in newborn size only.

It works up quickly and has lots of fun color and texture. I used Red Heart Unforgettable for mine which I think was a good choice for affordability, softness and color changes without the need to weave ends.
